TODAY: South Mornington will be hosting North
Brunny at Citation on Saturday, in what could be
billed as the match of the round. Both teams were
impressive in Round 1, while not having things all
their own way. I’ll stick with the Tigers.
Elgar Park will be the site for Box Hill North and
Point Cook to renew acquaintances, as both teams
try to open their account for 2011. I’m expecting
the Bulldogs to have a win here.
It’s the Cobras against the Snakes at Koonung,
in another match-up of teams looking for their
first win. Both sides squandered possible matchwinning
leads in the Round 1 encounters, so it will
be interesting to see how this plays out. I think
the Cobras might still be a
little unsettled, so Centrals
for me.
SFX host Chadstone at the
College and this is going to be a tough day at the
office for Chaddy. The home side look very much
like one of the teams to beat and will be too classy
for the Synners.
Another quality match-up beckons at St James
Park, where the Razorbacks will battle it out with
Eley Park. Eley will be full of confidence after a
big Round 1 victory, but Swinburne look like a
different proposition in Round 2 and I think the
Razorbacks can win here.
