FINALS INFORMATION 4th-5th September 2010 TICKETING Gates will be in operation at most VAFA venues over the weekend. Entrance Fees will be clearly displayed at the gates. Charges will be as follows: ADULTS: Premier, Premier B, $12 Premier C matches Division 1, 2, 3, 4, U19 and $10 U18 matches CONCESSION (Student and Health Card Holders): Premier, Premier B, $6 Premier C matches Division 1, 2, 3, 4, U19 and $5 U18 matches Car Parking (where applicable) $5 Children U12 and Aged Pensioners FREE Records (“The Amateur Footballer”) $2 FINALS PASSES Players and Officials will be issued with passes that allow free entry into venues. Members of the general public, parents, partners and friends will not be permitted to enter under these passes and payment will be requested if they are produced. NO ALCOHOL The VAFA has a strict NO ALCOHOL policy during matches. Anyone found consuming alcohol during matches will be asked to leave the venue and the club they are supporting will be fined. At each venue, licensed premises (social rooms) will open at the conclusion of the last match of the day. Patrons arriving at matches intoxicated will be refused entry. BOOT CHECKS Licensed security staff and VAFA gate staff will be conducting boot checks at all VAFA finals venues with vehicle access. The checks are to ensure alcohol is not brought into venues and the checks are a condition of entry. People refusing to have their boot checked will not be permitted to park their vehicle inside the venue. MULTIPLE GROUND PASS-OUT POLICY Where a club is playing two matches on the same day at two different venues, patrons may request a pass form the first venue so they can attend the second venue without paying a second entrance fee. Patrons must ask for a pass from the first venue to present to the second venue otherwise full payment will be requested. No pass – no free admittance. Players and Officials entering grounds on passes are not eligible for this provision. DOGS Patrons are requested not to bring dogs to VAFA finals venues. There are strictly no dogs allowed at Sportscover Arena and for the safety and comfort of other patrons, we request that this provision be upheld at all venues. DUTY OFFICERS All VAFA finals will have a VAFA Duty Officer present. The Duty Officer will be wearing an official VAFA jacket. Members of the public can report any issues to the Duty Officer present or contact the VAFA office on 9537 6777. A VAFA staff member will then contact the Duty Officer present.
