A year of transformation, growth and success Alumni Relations and Continuing Education Department Dr. Khalid Al Hammadi, Director The following are the accomplishments in both areas covered by our department: Alumni Relations and Continuing Education. Alumni Relations: During 2010, the office established the data base for all PI graduates. The data base includes graduation year and department, current professional status and contact information, together with the supervisor’s name and his or her contact information. In 2011, with Ms. Airen Fajardo as an administrative assistant, the office was ready to embark on major activities. As of June 2012, we have 750+ male graduates and 63 female graduates. At the administration level, it was decided to establish two alumni organizations; one for male graduates (the PI Alumni Association), and the other for female graduates (the PI Alumnae Association. Several activities for formally organizing the associations were completed during the year. a) Alumni Association Activities: Early in 2011, invitation letters were sent to all PI graduates for the inaugural PI alumni dinner at PI Arzanah campus. The event was held on June 15, 2011, and attended by more than 200 alumni as well as dignitaries from ADNOC and its operating companies (opcos).
