Year 2011-2012
New Employees:
• Mr. Ahmed Rashed Al Rashed – Manager
• Mr. Yaqoob Al Hammadi – Head of
Government Relations
• Mr. Mohamed Mehair Al Qubaisi – Head
of event Management
• All receptionists and campus security
personnel
Changes:
• The Public Relations department is one
of the new departments which evolved
during the reorganization of the PI. This
structural change moved PI’s reception
and security services under the new PR
department.
• The new positions of ‘Manager of Public
Relations” and “Head of Government
Relations” were established to enhance
operational efficiency.
Major Events and Activities
Annually the PR manages projects ranging
from coordinating marketing and advertising
to media and public relations activities.
The projects are prioritized based on the
department’s mission, the potential impact
on PI’s image, and the needs of the other
departments and programs. The following list
