Japanese records <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> attack on Pearl Harbor.<br />

In 1966, Alan H. Belmont joined <strong>the</strong> Hoover as exec.<br />

asst. to <strong>the</strong> director. He had formerly been with <strong>the</strong> FBI<br />

1936-65, serving as personal assistant to J. Edgar
