Bureau <strong>of</strong> Narcotics refused to investigate. When<br />

increasing public pressure was brought to bear on <strong>the</strong><br />

Bureau to investigate Nugan Hand Bank, <strong>the</strong> Bureau<br />

disbanded in 1979! It was controlled by <strong>the</strong> Australian<br />

Secret Intelligence organization, which in turn was<br />

dominated by <strong>the</strong> CIA.<br />

Inquiry Magazine revealed that while director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> CIA,<br />

William Colby laundered many millions <strong>of</strong> dollars <strong>of</strong> CIA<br />

funds through Nugan Hand to support political parties in<br />

Europe; <strong>the</strong> Christian Democratic Party in Italy was a<br />

principal recipient <strong>of</strong> this largesse, but o<strong>the</strong>r political<br />

parties in Europe also received millions <strong>of</strong> dollars. The<br />

World Order saw to it that funds were given only to those<br />

politicians who would carry out <strong>the</strong>ir program. On August<br />

15, 1984, <strong>the</strong> Washington Post revealed that <strong>the</strong> CIA had<br />

dominated <strong>the</strong> San Salvador elections by giving<br />

$960,000 to <strong>the</strong> Christian Democratic Party, and<br />

$437,000 to <strong>the</strong> National Council Party, to prevent<br />

D'Aubuisson, a militant anti-<strong>com</strong>munist, from being<br />

elected.<br />

Donald Beazley, a former Federal Reserve Bank<br />

examiner, was introduced by Admiral Yates at a bankers'<br />

meeting as "<strong>the</strong> finest young banker I know". Before <strong>the</strong><br />

debacle <strong>of</strong> Nugan Hand Bank, Beazley was found to<br />

have transferred $200,000 from Nugan Hand to his<br />

Florida bank account. He could not remember what this<br />

transaction was for. An Australian Royal Commission<br />

proved that <strong>the</strong> bank regularly transferred funds from<br />

Sydney to sou<strong>the</strong>ast Asia as payment for heroin
