In February 1930, one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> few articles on <strong>the</strong><br />

Rothschilds ever to appear in an American magazine<br />

appeared in Fortune, which stated:<br />

"On only one important point did <strong>the</strong> Rothschilds guess wrong. They never<br />

would have anything to do with <strong>the</strong> U.S. <strong>of</strong> America. Imagination falters at<br />

what <strong>the</strong> Rothschilds might be today if <strong>the</strong>y had spent on <strong>the</strong> infant industries<br />

<strong>of</strong> this country one-half <strong>the</strong> sums <strong>the</strong>y poured into Imperial Austria."<br />

The Fortune writer did not know <strong>the</strong>n and probably never<br />

knew that <strong>the</strong> Rothschilds have always controlled <strong>the</strong><br />

Morgan and Rockefeller operations, as well as <strong>the</strong><br />

foundations set up by <strong>the</strong>se front men to control <strong>the</strong><br />

people <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> United States.<br />

During <strong>the</strong> past quarter <strong>of</strong> a century, many writers have<br />

published alarming exposes <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Rockefellers and <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

control <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> U.S. through <strong>the</strong> Council on Foreign<br />

Relations. In 1950, <strong>the</strong> New York Times carried a small<br />

notice on an inside page that L.L. Strauss, a partner <strong>of</strong><br />

Kuhn, Loeb Co., had been appointed financial advisor to<br />

<strong>the</strong> Rockefeller bro<strong>the</strong>rs. In short, all <strong>the</strong>ir investments<br />

must be approved by a partner <strong>of</strong> Kuhn, Loeb Co. It has<br />

always been thus, beginning with Jacob Schiff.<br />

Strauss held <strong>the</strong> position from 1950 to 1953, when it<br />

passed to J. Richardson Dilworth. Dilworth, who married<br />

Elizabeth Cushing, was a partner <strong>of</strong> Kuhn, Loeb Co. from<br />

1946 to 1958, when he became director <strong>of</strong> finances for<br />

<strong>the</strong> entire Rockefeller family, presiding over all <strong>the</strong>ir
