In Sept. 1960, Kruschev was entertained at Hyde Park at
a dinner given in his honor by Eleanor Roosevelt.
Present at this select gathering was Victor Hammer, who
had fenced the Romanov jewels in the U.S. He sold
many Faberge items to Lillian Pratt, wife of the General
Motors tycoon; the collection is now in the Virginia
Museum in Richmond, Va.
