FYNS KRAN UDSTYR A/S<br />
We focus on safety – which is why we have developed two revolutionary<br />
new products for our marine and offshore customers:<br />
the <strong>Deep</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> Combination Rope and the Torpedo Socket.
We have more than doubled the rope work capacity, so the actual workload<br />
has and increased to 30 tonnes for the 46 mm DSC rope. We have<br />
also reduced the length and weight of our torpedo socket so rope bending<br />
decreases significantly when the rope/socket is pulled over a sheave. As a<br />
result, both the rope and the socket are exposed to much less stress than<br />
on previous products, which increases safety and durability<br />

Grapnel and Streaming Rope<br />
Material: Combination of steel and Danline<br />
Construction: Squarebraided 6-strand combination rope with IWRC,<br />
4 RHOL and 4 LHOL. Tackle yarns are Danline. Melting point 145°C.<br />
Properties: Non-rotating, easy to coil<br />
Application: Grapnel rope – Streaming Rope<br />

Torpedo Sockets<br />
Socketing grapnel and streaming rope.<br />
Socketing with “Wirelock”.<br />
Fits Gunnebo connecting link and swivel, which facilitates the<br />
joining of more lengths of rope and linking with various grapnels.<br />
The slim shape enables the joints to run freely through the different<br />
winch systems.<br />
