tonnes, Shanghai BSW Petro-Pipe also provides internal and external pipe
coating services.
Zhongyou BSS (Qinhuangdao) Petropipe Co., Ltd.
Manufactures Spiral Submerged Arc-Welded (SSAW) steel pipes, Longitudinal
Submerged Arc-Welded (LSAW) steel pipes, pipe fittings and bends using
the latest technology from Germany. With a plant capacity of 480,000 metric
tonnes, the plant also provides internal and external pipe coating services.
Wuxi Seamless Oilpipe Co., Ltd.
This company is China’s premium seamless steel pipe manufacturer with a
range of products, including casing and tubing in multiple steel grades, as
well as perforating pipes, drilling pipes and line pipes that are widely applied
in both onshore and offshore well drillings and pipelines. This plant has a
capacity of 720,000 metric tonnes.
United Seamless Tubulaar Pvt. Ltd.
Located in Hyderabad, India, this plant manufactures seamless tubular green
pipes for both OCTG and industrial applications, with a plant capacity of
300,000 metric tonnes.

The Australian Pavilion at OGA 2011 has grown this year

UMW Standard Drilling Sdn Bhd
UMW Standard Drilling’s principal activities
are the provision of mobile offshore drilling unit
(MODU) management and offshore drilling
services to the upstream Oil and Gas sector. This
company is the rig manager for both UMW’s
wholly owned Jack-up rigs, NAGA 2 and NAGA
3 of the MSC CJ46-X100-D design. NAGA 2 is
currently working for HESS (Indonesia-Pangkah
Ltd) while NAGA 3 is working for Petronas
Carigali Sdn Bhd at offshore Terengganu.
UMW Petrodril (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
UMW Petrodril (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd owns and
operates a fleet of modular and versatile Hydraulic
Workover Units (HWUs) that are well suited for
working over wells located either on small satellite
jackets or large integrated platforms. UMW
Petrodril has 100% market share in Malaysia, as
it is the only local owner and operator of HWUs
licensed by PETRONAS. The company’s
hydraulically-driven workover units have
pulling capacities of 340,000 and 460,000 lbs and
are capable of performing a wide range of
workover services. UMW Petrodril also provides
pressure control services such as gate valve
milling, hot tapping, snubbing and cryogenic
freeze plugging through subsidiary UMW

Established in 1989, it provides services of deepwell

Dutch Pavilion
– IRO and its 10 members!
Founded in 1971, this Dutch company IRO is here with the Dutch
Pavilion accompanied by 10 other companies. IRO promotes the
interest of the Dutch supply and service companies in the upstream
Oil and Gas industry. Members cover all activities involved in the
supply industry such as engineering, field development and pipeline
installation onshore as well as offshore. IRO represents the interest of
its 400 member companies towards the government and prospective
customer’s facilitates export promotion and subsidies for innovative
technology.
They will be presenting everything in the supply industry
such as engineering, field development, pipeline installation,
maintenance, manufacturing and material & equipment supply. IRO
will be handing out ‘The Netherlands Oil & Gas Catalogue 2011’ at

AMM MARINE
DOUBLE SUCCESS AT BERANTAI
AMM Marine and its associated
company ZEQ Engineering (Petronas
Licence Holder) have been awarded
two contracts from Petrofac, Sharjah,
for the Berantai FPSO project.
The development being undertaken
by Petrofac, in collaboration
with Kencana Energy and Sapura
Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd will
develop the field and will
subsequently operate the field for a
period of seven years after first gas
production on behalf of Petronas.
The initial success was with the
supply of export Hose Protection
System to be supplied by MIB Italiana, which comprises a connector/safety release
QCDC and integrated valving system specifically developed by the Italian manufacturer
for the FSO and FPSO market and already supplied to numerous installations in the
SEA region.
This has now been subsequently followed by a contract for the export
hose-string, being procured by a second Italian company, Bassi Offshore. Their
OCIMF Marine Hoses will transfer the crude oil from the Berantai FPSO to export
tankers for shipment to the mainland.
Backed by 106 years of experience, AMM Marine Systems is the Asia Pacific
sales and services office for Mampaey Offshore Industries BV, Holland. AMM
activities include supply, install, commissioning & services of Mampaey Offshore
Quick Release Hook, MIB Safety Connectors, Siri Marine Motion Monitoring
Systems. With partner, ZEQ Engineering & Technology Sdn Bhd and agent, Terra
Energy Sdn Bhd, AMM Marine is managing a long term RMO of MIB QCDCs for a
major oil company.

The Danish Pavilion, this year again by Offshore Denmark, will be exhibiting high efficiency metering,
dosing and injection pumps, hydraulic-electric power units and many more. Their main customers are
contractors and system suppliers to the Oil and Gas industry. Besides that, they expect to meet experts
from the Oil and Gas companies, who design the future.
