Carmanah M650
self contained solar navigation light
The Carmanah M650 is an advanced, self contained
solar LED light suitable for a range of AtoN applications.
It can be used for marina, port and hazard marking
on both fixed and floating structures including:
navigation buoys, piles, aquaculture markers, data
buoy platforms, mooring buoys and jetty masts.
The M650 updates the highly successful Carmanah 601 with
enhanced range capability and a replaceable battery pack,
extending the light’s service life beyond five years. In addition, the
microprocessor Energy Management System (EMS) monitors and
adapts the light to environmental conditions for consistent operation
and long life. All of the light’s components are incorporated within a
compact, self contained unit, making it easy to install and maintain.
The Carmanah M650 is the first solar product to incorporate
intelligent deployment location settings that allow it to be tuned
to its location to optimise performance and protect it from
improper configuration. The light is now also available with a GPS
synchronised flash option.
