VLB-67
LED MARINE BEACON
The VLB-67 is Vega’s low range LED beacon with a vertical divergence of better than
7°. The beacon is available as a standalone beacon or as a complete self contained
unit with solar panel and battery. Two sizes of solar/battery packs are available. The
large unit allows the VLB-67 to be used at higher latitudes or with longer duty cycles.
Range from 3-5NM at 0.74T. Web based selection tool available.
Optional internal GPS synchronisation. Optional sync wire and charging plug on
Self Contained unit. Optional data port (RS-232 or RS-485). Bidirectional IRDA
programming. Optional alarm/monitor wire. Standalone version has space to fit AC to
DC power converter.
VLB-2
LED MARINE BEACON
The VLB-2 is a short range 1-2NM LED marine beacon, with added solar and battery
capacity to operate at high latitude, higher duty cycle and with high autonomy.
Programming uses TVIR programmer or computer with IRDA interface. Web based
VSU-29
GPS SYNC UNIT
VSU-29
Includes 1.5m cable and mounting bracket;
Mounting option for a Vega VLB-44 Beacon
includes the mounting ring
of navigation lights. The sync unit generates both positive and negative transition
sync signals which allow it to be used with both Vega beacons and those from other
manufacturers. A sync delay of 0.9-9.9 seconds can be programmed if required.
directly on the Vega VLB-44 Beacons.
VEGAWEB
MONITORING SYSTEM
VegaWeb is designed to provide a plug and play monitoring solution for both Vega and
other manufacturers navigation lights. Vegaweb is a internet based monitoring system
and data is communicated using GSM cellular networks or via Satellite.
VegaWeb
Two models of Vegaweb are available. The Mini VegaWeb is designed for use with LED
beacons. The Large VegaWeb is designed for use with PEL Sector lights or rotating
beacons or other applications requiring a higher amount of digital or analogue interface.
VPR-39
POWER SUPPLY
When used with mains power Vega strongly recommends the use of the VPR-39
weather proof switch-mode power supply (12V & 24V). This has no inductance, and
will not generate large voltage spikes when lamps fail or when exposed to inrush
current on startup.
