PEL-3 & PEL-6<br />
PRECISION SECTOR LIGHT<br />
A PEL Sector Light displays a different colour when viewed from different angles at<br />
sea. With optional oscillating boundary, the signal alternates between two colours in<br />
proportion to the distance across the sector.<br />
PEL Sector Lights indicate the precise vessel position in confi ned waterways. They are<br />
used in situations where extreme accuracy is required, or where only a single station<br />
is possible for a lead light. Range up to 6NM by day and 24NM by night from a PEL-6;<br />
horizontal divergence from 3.5° to 20°. PEL-6 is designed primarily for day and night<br />
use, and PEL-3 for night use.<br />
VRB-25<br />
MARINE ROTATING BEACON<br />
The VRB-25 provides a range of up to 22NM with a 100W halogen lamp in a six place<br />
lampchanger. It was designed to meet a United States Coast Guard specifi cation for<br />
an accurate and reliable rotating beacon.<br />
The three key reasons for the success of this rotating beacon are the precision optics,<br />
the reliable rotating mechanism and the low power required for rotation. This beacon<br />
can operate in remote unattended sites with maintenance no more than once a year.<br />
No weather protection is required.<br />
VEGA LED PRODUCTS<br />
Vega LED lights are a family of products sharing common features and functionality.<br />
Programmable features include:<br />

Setup of the LED products is done using an infra red (TVIR) programmer. Newer<br />
products have bidirectional IRDA (Prog-01) allowing setup to be done using a computer.<br />
The Prog-01 allows all the configuration parameters of the beacon to be viewed and<br />
programmed at once. Settings can be saved and be re-used in other beacons.<br />
All products have wire synchronization either as standard or as a factory option on self<br />
contained beacons. The sync wire allows the synchronization of the flash character and<br />
the day/night transition. All products are available in red, green, white, yellow, and blue.<br />
VLS-46<br />
LED SECTOR PROJECTOR<br />
This high-resolution sector light is powered by LEDs, and uses a separate projector<br />
for each colour. Two models are available with a horizontal beam angle of 5° or 10°.<br />
The beam angle inside each projector is user-adjustable in the horizontal plane<br />
from 100% to 10% of the maximum beam angle. Base plate allows for accurate<br />
adjustment of the projectors so that colour boundaries are correctly aligned.<br />
Typical boundary resolution of 3 minutes of arc. Optional internal GPS synchronisation.<br />
VRL-91 UNI-MEGA<br />
HIGH POWER LED RANGE LIGHT<br />
The VRL-91 Uni-Mega is intended for applications requiring very high intensity<br />
directional lights. A single white lens can produce 500,000 candela. Depending on the<br />
number of lenses used, day range up to and exceeding 10NM is possible at 0.74T;<br />
night range exceeding 26NM.<br />
The construction of the VRL-91 is a vertical array containing the number of light<br />
elements required for the specifi c application. The construction provides a large heat<br />
sink to control the operating temperatures of the LEDs.<br />
VRL-74<br />
LED RANGE LIGHT<br />
The VRL-74 is intended for applications requiring a high intensity range light. A single<br />
3-degree lens can produce up to 80,000 candela in white. Multiple light sources are<br />
used to provide the required range and divergence. Spreader lenses available to widen<br />
beam width. The VRL-74 is available in 3 designs: Mini-array, Mini-tile, and Mini-solo.<br />
