APPLICATION CONSIDERATION • The VSU-29 needs to be mounted where the unit can acquire the satellite signal • Mount within 5 metres of any beacon • Do not obstruct visibility of the beacon with any wiring • Use GPS time sync where possible in order to avoid longer satellite acquisition times SPECIFICATIONS • GPS or UTC time standard • GPS time acquisition period 5 mins to 16 hours (20 mins recommended). At power up the initial time for acquisition may take up to 30 minutes.
