Personalizing your phone<br />
To activate headset mode<br />
You have connected a headset and <strong>no</strong>w want to activate the headset mode.<br />
A headset can be connected in parallel with the handset. You can switch the headset<br />
mode on and off.<br />
If you answer a call in headset mode using the Call key or Loudspeaker key, the call <strong>is</strong><br />
provided on the headset. Alternatively you can also answer the call by picking up the<br />
handset.<br />
<strong>Th<strong>is</strong></strong> phone supports headsets based on the DHSG standard, which allows you to set<br />
up and to end calls from the headset. Ask your dealer which headsets are particularly<br />
well suited for th<strong>is</strong> phone.<br />
Notes:<br />
• To avoid damages on the phone always d<strong>is</strong>connect the phone from the mains<br />
power first before you install a DHSG (Digital Hook Switch) headset.<br />
• To find out how to make phone calls with the headset, refer to the chapter "Using<br />
a headset", <strong>page</strong> 24.<br />
Menu<br />
Settings<br />
Press the Menu Foxkey.<br />
Scroll to Settings and press the Select Foxkey.<br />
Audio<br />
Scroll to Audio and press the Select Foxkey.<br />
Headset<br />
Scroll to Headset and press the Modify Foxkey.<br />
<br />
Activate/deactivate the headset mode and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.<br />
➔The microphone <strong>is</strong> deactivated, <strong>is</strong> d<strong>is</strong>played.<br />
