Confirm<br />
Ig<strong>no</strong>re<br />
Confirming the alarm:<br />
Press the Confirm Foxkey on the staff phone.<br />
➔The alarm ends and the alarm signal <strong>is</strong> deleted from the staff phone.<br />
Ig<strong>no</strong>ring an alarm:<br />
Press the Ig<strong>no</strong>re Foxkey on the staff phone.<br />
➔The alarm remains active and the alarm signal <strong>is</strong> deleted from the staff<br />
phone.<br />
Deleting the alarm:<br />
You can delete the alarm directly from the alarm button next to the bed.<br />
➔The alarm ends and the alarm signal <strong>is</strong> deleted from the staff phone.<br />
Direct response without a triggered alarm:<br />
You can execute the direct response function without the patient having triggered an alarm first. <strong>Th<strong>is</strong></strong><br />
function must be stored under a function key (see chapter "Configuring presence/presence profile",<br />
<strong>page</strong> 103).<br />
Note:<br />
Direct response <strong>is</strong> a special variation of the intercom feature (see "Starting an<br />
an<strong>no</strong>uncement", <strong>page</strong> 44). The differences are as follows:<br />
• Direct response can only be used with a specifically configured<br />
<strong>Aastra</strong> Alarm Server.<br />
• Direct response can only be triggered using the Direct response Foxkey once an<br />
alarm <strong>is</strong> received.<br />
