Log out<br />

Note:<br />

The default PIN setting "0000" <strong>is</strong> <strong>no</strong>t accepted. First change the PIN as<br />

described in chapter "Changing the PIN", <strong>page</strong> 92 or use the function code *47<br />

(see "User’s Guide Function Codes" on the <strong>Aastra</strong> DocFinder). If you have forgotten<br />

your PIN, your system admin<strong>is</strong>trator can reset it to the default setting.<br />

Log out free seating:<br />

Press the Log out Foxkey.<br />

➔The d<strong>is</strong>play with the call number <strong>is</strong> d<strong>is</strong>played.<br />

Depending on the system configuration enter the PIN and confirm with the Ok<br />

Foxkey.<br />

➔You are <strong>no</strong>w logged off; the free seating phone <strong>is</strong> <strong>no</strong>w available again to<br />

other users.<br />

Note:<br />

You are automatically logged off if your system admin<strong>is</strong>trator has set up an<br />

automatic logoff process.<br />

Hotline<br />

The hotline <strong>is</strong> typically used for lift phones, emergency phones, or for baby alarms or<br />

hotline in the hospitality/hotel branch.<br />

A user needs help and picks up the handset or presses the loudspeaker key. The user<br />

<strong>is</strong> automatically routed to the preconfigured hotline destination number stored in the<br />

communication server. The person responsible answers the call and <strong>is</strong> connected with<br />

the user seeking help.<br />

Alarm cancellation delay: Your system admin<strong>is</strong>trator can set a delay (0-60 seconds,<br />

depending on the <strong>Aastra</strong> system phone). During th<strong>is</strong> delay the user can enter a<strong>no</strong>ther<br />

call number in order <strong>no</strong>t to trigger a call on the hotline destination number. If the user<br />

does <strong>no</strong>t dial a<strong>no</strong>ther phone number during th<strong>is</strong> predefined time or puts the handset<br />

back down again, a connection with the Hotline number <strong>is</strong> automatically set up. Contact<br />

your system admin<strong>is</strong>trator for more information.<br />

User needs help:<br />

User picks up the handset of h<strong>is</strong> phone or presses the loudspeaker key.<br />

➔A connection with the hotline number <strong>is</strong> automatically set up after a predefined<br />

time without the user having to do anything else.<br />

The hotline <strong>is</strong> integrated in your communication system. Information on hotline<br />

alarm with <strong>Aastra</strong> Alarm Server can be found in the chapter "Hotline Alarm",<br />

<strong>page</strong> 77.<br />
