I, ____________________________, formally submit this Petition of Candidacy for the office of
ASDACC President. In addition to this petition with 50 signatures, candidates will submit the
following:
1. A written statement stating your intention to run for office and your goals for your term of
office.
In accordance with the by-laws and rules set forth in the ASDACC Constitution, I agree to the
following terms of office:
A. Candidates for ASDACC Executive Office positions must be enrolled in at least 6 credit
hours in a declared DACC major, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, in order to run for
office. Elected officers must maintain their 6 hours status, and be in good academic standing
during their term of office. Also, academic and non-academic infractions to include current,
pending, or future violations of the Student Code of Conduct may result in dismissal from office
as determined by the DACC Campus Student Services Officer.
