The DISAFLOW system
DISAFLOW is the optimum coupling system for building a fixed suck/blow tube system. It is easy to
handle, durable and light and ensures a safe and environmentally-friendly material handling. The components
come in galvanized steel or stainless steel and are available in dimensions from 3” to 8”.

1. Steel cover DFB is used to seal the hose connection, tank inlet etc. at transport
2. Reducer DFU is used to connect different pipe dimensions
3. Steel couplings for welding DFV is used to connect steel pipes and other
equipment eg. fixed pipe installations.
4. Steel coupling DFM is mounted on the aluminium pipes in the suction system
5. Spanner DFK is used to connect different parts of the DISAFLOW system.Is available
in a reinforced design for extreme high load eg. to extend aluminium pipes on the
hoseboom or at blowing material.
6. Hose coupling with flange DFS. Mounted at the end of the hose with a steel or copper
cord connected to the hose coupling to ensure an optimum conductivity. It is secured
with a hose clamp KRK or a PA-RI hose clamp.

Hoses
DISAB is working in close cooperation with the hose manufacturers in order to safeguard optimum
design and material quality of the hoses. We offer working hoses and hoses for transport
ranging from 3” to 10”. No matter what material to be transported, we have the best solution in
one with our DISAFLOW coupling system.
The most common type of material hoses are
Working hose: flexible, wear resistant, has an acceptable weight and is easy to handle
Transport hose: wear resistant both inside and outside, manageable
Inlet hoses: very wear resistant (rubber pipe)
All hoses can be conductive by connecting the steel cord or copper wire.

Working hose TAS MD
Flexible hose for moderately difficult applications with lower weight and greater bend radio than
HD.
Temp range: -30° - +90° C
Electrical properties: Non-conductive inner rubber. The steel coil can be exposed and connected
to the couplings or wire conduction.

Very flexible and light working hose for low and medium abrasive materials and medium
vacuum resistance. Easy to work with and suitable in very narrow places and when transporting
light or medium materials.

Main filter and safety filter
Our vacuum loaders are equipped with two filter systems. Regular filter changing intervals
safeguards low fuel consumption. Studies made show reduced fuel consumption by as much
as 4000 l fuel/year.
The filter systems also helps preserving the operators’ health and the environment.
Optional main filters
In addition to dry material such as sand/gravel, soil, fly ash, ore and steel shot the vacuum
loader can handle fluids, wet material and sludge.
For an optimum filter function the working environment as well as the material to be handled
should be considered. Not least important is the choice of a proper filter material for the vacuum
loader.
For the main filter you have/there are the following options:

1. DISAB Dry Solution
For dry material only. With this standard filter you manage easy jobs.
2. DISAB Moisture Solution
For possible wet or oily residues in the material to be handled. The Moisture Solution is Teflon®coated
for minimum absorption of moist and oil.
3. DISAB Dry Antistatic Solution
For dry material and for diverting static electricity when handling dust. By diverting the static
load the dust explosion hazard is minimized. Also a reduced fall of pressure is achieved since
there is no static electricity adhering the particles to the filter material.
4. DISAB Gore-Tex® Membrane Solution
Preventing even the smallest particles from entering the system and for maintaining a high
filtration rating for a very long time. This solution also works in wet material since no particles
will enter the filter.
5. DISAB Spark Solution
For dry material and for applications when there is a risk for sparks formation or warm particles
in the material. The surface is coated with spark-arresting coal fibres.
6. DISAB Gore-Tex® Antistatic Solution
A combination of the Dry Antistatic and the Gore-Tex Membrane Solution.
Safety filter
With a safety filter installed, the emission of microscopic parts is brought down - all for the benefit
of the operator’s working environment. Based on the vacuum loader model there are either
two or three safety filters fitted on top of the vacuum pump as protection of the pump in case of
a leak in the main filters.
