1.06 PROJECT CONDITIONS
A. Environmental Limitations: Rate equipment for continuous operation under the following
conditions, unless otherwise indicated:
1. Ambient Temperature: Not exceeding 104 deg F (40 deg C).
2. Altitude: Not exceeding 6600 feet (2000 m).
B. Interruption of Existing Electric Service: Do not interrupt electric service to facilities
occupied by Owner or others unless permitted under the following conditions and then
only after arranging to provide temporary electric service according to requirements
indicated:
1. Notify Construction Manager no fewer than two weeks in advance of proposed
interruption of electrical service.
2. Do not proceed with interruption of electrical service without Construction
Manager's written permission.
1.07 COORDINATION
A. Coordinate layout and installation of panelboards and components with other construction
that penetrates walls or is supported by them, including electrical and other types of
equipment, raceways, piping, and encumbrances to workspace clearance requirements.
B. Coordinate size and location of concrete bases for free standing panels. Cast anchor-bolt
inserts into bases. Concrete, reinforcement, and formwork requirements are specified in
Division 3.

A. Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products by one of the
following:
1. Panelboards, Overcurrent Protective Devices, Controllers, Contactors, and
Accessories:
a. Eaton Corporation; Cutler-Hammer Products.
b. General Electric Co.; Electrical Distribution & Protection Div.
c. Square D.
