1.04 SUBMITTALS
A. Product Data: For raceways, surface raceways, wireways, fittings, floor boxes, hingedcover
enclosures, and cabinets.
B. Shop Drawings: Show fabrication and installation details of components for enclosures,
and cabinets.
C. Coordination Drawings: Reflected ceiling plans drawn to scale and coordinating
penetrations and ceiling-mounted items. Show the following:
1. Ceiling suspension assembly members.
2. Method of attaching hangers to building structure.
3. Size and location of initial access modules for acoustical tile.
4. Ceiling-mounted items including lighting fixtures, diffusers, grilles, speakers,
sprinklers, access panels, and special moldings.
1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Electrical Components, Devices, and Accessories: Listed and labeled as defined in
NFPA 70, Article 100, by a testing agency acceptable to the Owner , and marked for
intended use.
B. Comply with NFPA 70.
1.06 COORDINATION
A. Coordinate layout and installation of raceways, boxes, enclosures, cabinets, and
suspension system with other construction that penetrates ceilings or is supported by
them, including light fixtures, HVAC equipment, fire-suppression system, and partition
assemblies.

A. In other Part 2 articles where subparagraph titles below introduce lists, the following
requirements apply for product selection:
1. Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products by the
