3.14 GUARANTEE
A. The Contractor shall and does hereby guarantee for a period of one year from date of final
acceptance by the Architect all work as called for in the various Divisions of these specifications.
When such work is performed by Subcontractors, and where special guarantees are required by
Subcontractors, the Contractor shall secure warranties from said Subcontractors and deliver copies of
same to the Owner upon completion of the work.
B. The Contractor shall replace with new materials and/or equipment any material failing to give
satisfactory service during the guarantee period and shall replace any refrigerant or oil lost during the
guarantee period. Replacement of materials, equipment, oil or refrigerant, including all labor involved,
shall be at no cost to the Owner.
C. Nothing in the above intends or implies that this guarantee shall apply to work which has been abused
or neglected by the Owner.
