3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Prior to installation of the Work of this Section, carefully inspect the installed work of other trades and verify
that such work is complete to the point where this installation may properly commence.
B. Verify that the Equipment may be installed in complete accord with the manufacturer's recommendations and
the intent of the original design.
3.02 DISCREPANCIES
A. In the event of a significant discrepancy, immediately notify the Cinemark USA's Consultant.
B. Do not proceed with installation in areas of discrepancy until related problems have been resolved.
3.03 COORDINATION
A. Coordinate interface requirements for electrical and mechanical connections in a timely manner to permit
orderly progress of the Work.
3.04 INSTALLATION
A. Locate, assemble, position and properly install items of equipment.
B. Leave installed work neat, clean and polished, well fitted into position, level and in proper operating condition.
C. After installation has been completed and items checked (and adjusted where necessary) for satisfactory
operation, arrange for inspection of the equipment. If items are found deficient or unsatisfactory, make
necessary corrections to the approval of the Cinemark USA's Consultant.
D. Concession Equipment supplied must be approved by authorities having jurisdiction, and must have necessary
labels of inspection or approval fixed.
E. Refrigeration compressors shall carry a five year warranty.
F. Ship, deliver and store materials and items of equipment in factory containers with seals and labels intact
wherever practical. Package materials and equipment or components in a manner to prevent damage to and
marring of finished surface.
G. Provide protection for finished surfaces after installation to prevent damage, marring and soiling due to
construction activities. Such protection shall consist of suitable paper, plastic, fiber board or other similar
materials adequately held in place by adhesive, tape or other means which will not stain or mark the equipment
or the surfaces to which it is applied.
H. During installation, clean up daily and deposit rubbish and debris in bin or container supplied by the General
Contractor, who will unpack equipment.
I. Upon completion of installation clean exposed surfaces of dirt, dust and extraneous materials.
