SECTION 11400
CONCESSION EQUIPMENT
1.01 SCOPE
A. Provide installation of Concession Equipment as indicated by the Contract Documents.
1. Work of this Section will be supplied and installed by Cinemark USA unless otherwise noted on itemized
list in the Drawings. Provide coordination of mechanical and electrical roughing in and related work.
2. Work of this Section consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
a. Provision of labor, plant, tools, uncrating and set-in-place of equipment specified, ready for final
connection of services by mechanical and electrical sections.
b. Verification of site dimensions.
c. Supervision of equipment installation, and monitoring of service connections.
B. Work, items and requirements specified elsewhere that apply and/or relate to this Section include:
1. Finish Carpentry - Section 06200
2. Gypsum Wallboard - Section 09250
3. Resilient Flooring and Base - Section 09650
4. Mechanical - Division 15
5. Electrical - Division 16
1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. For fabrication and installation of the Equipment use only personnel who are thoroughly familiar with the
recommended methods and trained in the required skills. Provide a competent supervisor during the site
installation period.
B. Equipment shall comply with applicable Standards, and shall meet the requirements of local inspection by
authorities having jurisdiction.
C. VOC emissions: Provide low VOC products.
1. Adhesives and sealants: Comply with California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District
(SCAQMD) #1168 identified in Section 01352.
2. Aerosol adhesives: Comply with Green Seal GS-36 identified in Section 01352
3. Clear wood finishes: Comply with SCAQMD #1113 identified in Section 01352
4. Engineered Wood Products: Provide products with no added urea formaldehyde.
1.03 SUBMITTALS
A. Submit shop drawings required in accordance with Section 01340.
B. Deliver the manufacturer's instructions, maintenance manuals, and data regarding guarantees to the Cinemark's
Consultant for review and further transmittal to Cinemark.
C. Recycled Content:
5. Indicate recycled content; indicate percentage of pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled content per
unit of product.
6. Indicate material cost of product less labor included in project.
7. If recycled content product is part of an assembly, indicate the percentage of recycled content product in
the assembly by weight.
D. Local/Regional Materials:
1. Sourcing location(s): Indicate location of extraction, harvesting, and recovery; indicate distance between
extraction, harvesting, and recovery and the project site.
2. Manufacturing location(s): Indicate location of manufacturing facility; indicate distance between
manufacturing facility and the project site.
3. Product Value: Indicate dollar value of product containing local/regional materials; include materials cost
only.
4. Product Component(s) Value: Where product components are sourced or manufactured in separate
locations, provide location information for each component. Indicate the percentage by weight of each
component per unit of product.
E. Provide product data indicating VOC levels in gallons/liter (g/L) or no added urea-formaldehyde as required in
Section 01352.
