4. Heating System:
a. Two stage gas heating section shall have inputs and outputs as
scheduled.
b. Cylindrical tube and drum heat exchanger shall be constructed of
aluminized steel. Power burner shall have electric direct spark ignition,
100% safety shut off electronic flame sensing controls, flame inspection
glass window, pre-purging and combustion air adjustment. All controls
shall be listed for operation at low outdoor air temperatures. System shall
be equipped with dual limit safety controls and rated and tested
according to D.O.E., F.T.C and A.G.A.

6. Fans:
a. Shall be of zinc coated, galvanized steel with a baked-on outdoor enamel
paint finish. Base section and cabinet panels where conditioned air is
handled shall be fully insulated to prevent sweating and minimize sound.
a. FC centrifugal conditioned air blower shall be belt driven and be capable
of delivering capacities as scheduled on the drawings,. Blower shall be
statically and dynamically balanced.
b. Propeller type condenser fans shall discharge vertically and be direct
driven. Fan motors shall be totally enclosed with ball bearings,
permanently lubricated, inherently protected and equipped with rain
shield. Fans shall have a safety guard.
7. Air Filters
a. Throwaway 2” pleated high efficiency filters.
8. Temperature Controls:
a. Provide a programmable thermostat with 7-day program clock. During
unoccupied periods, the RTU fan and heating section shall be energized
as necessary to maintain temperature, outside dampers will be closed.
b. The mechanical contractor is responsible for all control wiring.
9. Provide the following options:
a. Economizer
b. Single point power with non fused disconnect and factory wired GFI
outlet.
c. Condenser coil guards
d. Through the bottom electrical connections
e. Five year compressor warranty
