whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you
loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of
you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you.”
Notice that Jesus equates the problems in the church with spiritual
warfare. That is why he mentioned binding, loosing, and prayer. Satan
is behind all division in the body of Christ. We should seek to see anyone
that is repentant restored gently into the church. We should seek
unity. I want to see walls of racism, denominations, generations, and
between male and female come down. Jesus desires us to be in unity.
I know in the city in which God has placed me there is so much competition
and division between churches. Satan sits back and laughs at
the foolishness of Christians. If we can come together, satan knows he
doesn’t have a chance. That is why satan works so hard to keep us
divided. John 17:20­21 Jesus prays that his people would be one as he
and the Father are one. We are far from that! Psalm 133 shows how
unity brings the flow of the anointing. Let’s seek unity in the body.
There are times for confrontation and church discipline, but it all must
be done in love and for the spiritual growth of the body of Christ in the
earth.
I was at a meeting with a very high profile ministry. In this ministry the
wife is the prominent figure. I was ministering and there was so much
control and oppression coming from her. I was working against this
oppression while trying to minister. I asked the Lord about the problem.
He responded about Jezebel and Ahab spirits at work. Now this ministry
is of God (to a degree) and I love them dearly, but there can still be
open doors or “gates of hell” open in our lives and ministries if we are
not careful. My wife later had a dream in which the husband entered a
room as a spokesman for his wife and he was dressed as a woman.
Then he began leading them in very unscriptural prayers that were
demonic. This dream confirmed to me an Ahab spirit and lack of true
order.
Why am I so concerned? Because these seducing spirits will bring with
them doctrines of demons and great deception. People that have an
issue with these spirits in days to come will likely fall away. The Bible
says in 1Timothy 4:1­2:
“The Spirit clearly says that in later times, some will abandon the faith
and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings
come through hypocritical liars whose consciences have been
seared as with a hot iron.”
This is what scares me! The deceiving (seducing) spirits will bring in
strange teachings and ultimately deceive people into abandoning the
faith. Right now satanism and witchcraft talk of how “oppressive”
