The Circle celebrated its 172nd meeting jointly with Circle 340 in June. A ladies dinner<br />
followed with Mrs Shirley Sutton as guest speaker. Shirley spoke about the formation <strong>of</strong> her<br />
recently published centenary book entitled "the history <strong>of</strong> district and community health<br />
nursing in the ACT 1911 to <strong>20</strong>11 - 100 years”.<br />
The book is sub-titled “Caring for the Community - rain, hail or shine” and features a young<br />
Sue McWilliam on the cover - hence the cloak worn by Sue at the presentation.<br />
This was a real life “call the midwife” story.<br />
