“Cherry Blossom Tour” <strong>of</strong> Japan…<br />
Brother Peter and Lorelie O’Reilly have returned safely after a wonderful “Cherry Blossom<br />
Tour” <strong>of</strong> Japan. It was a small group <strong>of</strong> 14 “seniors” with a most pleasant, knowledgeable<br />
and organised guide, Saeko Yashita who looked after us like a mother hen. We were<br />
fortunate to see heaps <strong>of</strong> cherry blossoms on the trees in varying shades <strong>of</strong> pink through to<br />
white.<br />
All the party were impressed with the courtesy <strong>of</strong> the Japanese people, the cleanliness <strong>of</strong><br />
every area visited, the speed and punctuality <strong>of</strong> the trains, the sea <strong>of</strong> black suits in Tokyo and<br />
the very moving atomic peace park and museum in Hiroshima.<br />
Our party visited Tokyo, Kyoto Hiroshima, Kanazawa and mountain villages.<br />
In all a most memorable holiday!<br />
