Skin tends to develop exudative, foul-smelling inflammation with a discharge of excoriating,<br />

acrid, and purulent character. Also in the mucosae tendency to develop ulceration<br />

with purulent, foul-smelling and excoriating secretion, causing in the respiratory<br />

tract a dry cough and purulent discharge expelled from the nostrils.<br />

In the digestive tract, defecation is made under severe tenesmus and is mucid, sanguineous,<br />

and diarrhea-like. In the genitourinary tract, initially a substantial polyuria accompanied<br />

by tenesmus; the urine is turbid, sanguineous and possibly purulent and is<br />

voided drop by drop. May develop further into oliguria or anuria.<br />

Nephritis (albuminuria, cylindruria), nephrolithiasis and calcium encrustation of the kidneys<br />

due to insufficient capacity to eliminate calcium. Urethra and external genitals are<br />

inflamed with purulent discharge. Acute and chronic inflammation of the lymphatic<br />

system with intumescence of the lymphatic vessels and glands, for instance knobby<br />

alterations within the tissue of the udder and teats. Lastly chronic affections of the<br />

connective tissue. Aggravation at night with movement and with humidity. Amelioration<br />

at rest and when drinking.<br />
