Indications:<br />

Injuries and their results, e.g. cerebral concussion, fractures, luxations, contusions,<br />

burns, post-operative and post-traumatic soft tissue swelling, edemas, hematoma.<br />

Inflammatory processes of different kinds and localisations, e. g. phlegmons, abscesses,<br />

inflammations of the anal sac, otitis, fluor albus (with vaginal discharge), dermatitis,<br />

conjunctivitis, mastitis.<br />

Inflammatory and degenerative processes accompanied by inflammations, especially<br />

at the connective and locomotorial system, e.g. arthritis, tendovaginitis, bursitis, galls<br />

of hockjoint.<br />

Contraindications: (Traumeel S): Hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or<br />

excipients, to Arnica, Chamomilla, Achillea millefolium or to other plants of the daisy<br />

(composite) family. Injection solution, drops: As a matter of principle, Echinacea should<br />

not be used in progressive, systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia or leukemia-like<br />

diseases, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue (collagen disease),<br />

autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infections or other chronic viral diseases.<br />

Side effects: Hypersalivation may occur after administration, in which case use of the<br />

product should be discontinued. Allergic reactions may occasionally occur on account<br />

of the homeopathic active substance Mercurius solubilis, in which case use of the product<br />

should be discontinued, too. (Traumeel S): In individual cases, hypersensitivity<br />

reactions (up to the anaphylactic reaction) are possible in persons with hypersensitivity<br />

to composites (e.g. Arnica, Chamomilla, Achillea millefolium). Allergic skin reactions<br />

(redness, swelling and pruritus) can occur in rare cases, in which case use of the product<br />

should be discontinued. After treatment with products containing Echinacea extracts<br />

skin rash and itching (pruritus), and in rare cases facial swelling, shortness of<br />

breath (dyspnea), dizziness and a fall in blood pressure, have been observed. (Traumeel<br />

S Injection Solution): Temporarily, reddening, tumefaction and pain may occur on the<br />

puncture site. Ointment: Hypersensitivity reactions or local allergic reactions (cutaneous<br />

inflammation, redness, swelling and pruritus) may occur in rare cases, in which case<br />

use of the product should be discontinued.<br />

Interaction with other medications: None known.<br />

Waiting period: None.<br />

Instructions for use, route and duration of administration:<br />

Traumeel LT ad us. vet. is to be administered by s.c., i.m., i.v. or periarticular injection.<br />

According to species, the single dosage is as follows:<br />

Horse, cattle, swine: 5 ml<br />

Piglet: 2–3 ml<br />

Sheep, goat: 2 ml<br />

Large dog: 3–4 ml<br />

Medium dog: 2 ml<br />

Small dog, cat: 1–2 ml<br />

Puppy: 0.5–1 ml<br />

Small pets: 0.5 ml<br />

If necessary, depending on the severity of the case, the indicated dosage is to be repeated<br />

after 24 hours.<br />

For long-term treatment of chronic affections or those with tendencies to recur, the<br />

indicated single dosage can be administered at 4-day intervals.<br />

Use of the medication should be discontinued when the relevant symptoms no longer<br />

occur.<br />

Don’t store above 30 °C.<br />

Traumeel T ad us. vet. is to be administered orally.<br />

According to species, the daily single dosage is as follows:<br />

Large dog: 3 tablets 3 times<br />

Medium dog: 2 tablets 3 times<br />

Small dog, cat: 1 tablet 3 times<br />

In cases with acute symptoms, initially the indicated dosage can be repeated after half<br />

to one hour during a period of 4 hours.<br />

Package sizes:<br />

Traumeel LT ad u. vet. injection solution: Packs containing 5, 50 or 150 ampoules of<br />

5.0 ml each.<br />

Traumeel T ad us. vet. tablets: Packs containing 250 or 500 tablets.<br />

Traumeel S injection solution: Packs containing 10 or 50 ampoules of 2.2 ml each.<br />

Traumeel S drops: Drop bottles containing 30 or 100 ml.<br />

Traumeel S ointment: Tubes containing 50 g or 100 g.<br />
