LIFE ON CAMPUS
Wintec is located on three
campuses in Hamilton city, and
also delivers programmes in the
wider Waikato region.
HAMILTON CITY CAMPUS
The City Campus is centrally
located, with shops, the Waikato
river, transport and cafés literally
at your feet.
It’s a vibrant and energising
environment with outstanding
facilities for learning and support.
At the centre of campus is the
Gallagher Hub housing a large
computer study area containing
over 130 computers (Mac and PC),
a library, copying services, study
rooms, café and event rooms.
The City Campus also features
lecture theatres that utilise the
latest technology, a student radio
station, art gallery, hairdressing
and beauty clinics and student
support services.
ROTOKAURI CAMPUS
The Rotokauri Campus is set on
farmland about 10 minutes drive
north of the central city. It has
some of the best purpose-built
training facilities in New Zealand,
including sport science labs, a
specialist training restaurant
with kitchens, and fully equipped
trades workshops.
HAMILTON GARDENS CAMPUS
The Horticulture Education
Centre is a picturesque
campus located in the
world-renowned Hamilton
Gardens. It provides outstanding
learning opportunities and
arguably the country’s
most creative and inspiring
outdoor classroom.
WIDER WAIKATO
Wintec operates in Waikato
regions, providing the skills
employers in the Waihi, Thames,
Otorohanga and Te Kuiti
communities need.
URBAN HAIR AND URBAN SPA
Located in Wintec House on the
City Campus, Urban Hair and
Urban Spa offer a full range of
inexpensive hair and beauty
services from their modern
refurbished facilities.

RESTAURANT
At Windows you’ll be spoilt for
choice from a varied seasonal
menu, beautifully prepared
and served by our Centre for
Hospitality students. Windows
has been refurbished recently
and offers you the option of
dining in a modern, peaceful
environment at the Rotokauri
Campus at extremely good value.
