Our university also facilitates the highly advanced and one
of the largest laboratories complex called Techno Center and
Medical Sciences Laboratories. İstanbul Aydın University offers

via Erasmus, Farabi, dual degree, and minor degree programs.
Our diplomas are ECTS and DS Labeled given by the European
Commission that approves our diplomas in EU countries. İstanbul
Aydın University also has more than 450 cooperation protocols

İstanbul Aydın University is located in the central area of İstanbul,

Founded in 1996, İstanbul Bilgi University (BİLGİ) currently
has 1.000 academics, 20.000 students and more
than 22.000 alumni. As an English medium institution,
BİLGİ offers more than 150 programs in its 6 faculties, 3
schools, 3 vocational schools and 5 institutes.
In 2006, BİLGİ became the first and only member in
Turkey of Laureate International Universities, one of the
world’s largest university networks. BİLGİ is one of the
most prestigious universities within this international
network, which has more than 950,000 students in 29
countries.
With three campuses in the city centre (santralistanbul,
Dolapdere and Kustepe), BİLGİ hosts more than
1.000 events each year as not only an academically
but also a socially and culturally excelling institution.
These events range from the Red Hot Chili Peppers
concert in 2012 to a speech by the former US president
Bill Clinton in 2010.
İstanbul Bilgi University hosted many important international
events as such above, including the fifth İstanbul
Seminars under the title “The Promises of Democracy
in Troubled Times” on May 19-24, 2012. A number
of the world’s most significant philosophers, politicians,
anthropologists and academics from around the world
came together at these lectures. The 2012 Game Theory
World Congress was also held at the santralistanbul
campus. The congress brought together four Nobel
laureates, John Nash, Eric Maskin, Reinhard Selten and
Roger Myerson, as well as many other world-famous
mathematicians and economists.
