As the most preferred foundation university by students<br />
since its first establishment, İstanbul Aydin University plays an<br />

İstanbul Aydın University is an institution with modern and<br />

Our university also facilitates the highly advanced and one<br />
of the largest laboratories complex called Techno Center and<br />
Medical Sciences Laboratories. İstanbul Aydın University offers<br />
many other career advancement opportunities to its students<br />
via Erasmus, Farabi, dual degree, and minor degree programs.<br />
Our diplomas are ECTS and DS Labeled given by the European<br />
Commission that approves our diplomas in EU countries. İstanbul<br />
Aydın University also has more than 450 cooperation protocols<br />
with prestigious universities around the World. .<br />
İstanbul Aydın University is located in the central area of İstanbul,<br />
which is the heart of many civilizations throughout history.<br />
There 2,500 international and 32,000 students studying in IAU<br />
as of <strong>2015</strong>.<br />
Founded in 1996, İstanbul Bilgi University (BİLGİ) currently<br />
has 1.000 academics, 20.000 students and more<br />
than 22.000 alumni. As an English medium institution,<br />
BİLGİ offers more than 150 programs in its 6 faculties, 3<br />
schools, 3 vocational schools and 5 institutes.<br />
In 2006, BİLGİ became the first and only member in<br />
Turkey of Laureate International Universities, one of the<br />
world’s largest university networks. BİLGİ is one of the<br />
most prestigious universities within this international<br />
network, which has more than 950,000 students in 29<br />
countries.<br />
With three campuses in the city centre (santralistanbul,<br />
Dolapdere and Kustepe), BİLGİ hosts more than<br />
1.000 events each year as not only an academically<br />
but also a socially and culturally excelling institution.<br />
These events range from the Red Hot Chili Peppers<br />
concert in 2012 to a speech by the former US president<br />
Bill Clinton in 2010.<br />
İstanbul Bilgi University hosted many important international<br />
events as such above, including the fifth İstanbul<br />
Seminars under the title “The Promises of Democracy<br />
in Troubled Times” on May 19-24, 2012. A number<br />
of the world’s most significant philosophers, politicians,<br />
anthropologists and academics from around the world<br />
came together at these lectures. The 2012 Game Theory<br />
World Congress was also held at the santralistanbul<br />
campus. The congress brought together four Nobel<br />
laureates, John Nash, Eric Maskin, Reinhard Selten and<br />
Roger Myerson, as well as many other world-famous<br />
mathematicians and economists.
