• The spacing of channelizing devices shown in the temporary traffic control layouts are based<br />

on the distances contained in Table 6F-3.<br />

F.4. Michigan Manual on Uniform Traffic Control <strong>Device</strong>s<br />

• One-Lane, Two-Way Taper: A short taper having a maximum length of 100 ft with<br />

channelizing devices at approximately 16 ft spacing should be used to guide traffic into the<br />

one-way section.<br />

F.5. Missouri Guidelines for Temporary Traffic Control Zones<br />

• Recommended channelizing device spacing for shoulder and lane tapers in the transition area<br />

are shown in the following table.<br />
