KU SPOTLIGHT - CHRIS BIRDSALL: OUR BELOVED ‘MRS. B’<br />
It’s with mixed emotions that we announce Chris Birdall’s resignation effective June 15, 2010. Chris has served as Small <strong>Gr</strong>oup Director for<br />
the <strong>Gr</strong>ade 1-5 kids at Kids Unlimited and has been a fun and faithful part of the <strong>Gr</strong>acepoint Staff for 7+ years. She has been an encourager<br />
for her great teams of small group ‘shepherds’ and supply prep. Chris has a big heart to serve and has been a key member of the KU team,<br />
also Hospitality, <strong>Community</strong> Dinner and Youth /Jr. High events. She started at Panorama as a volunteer, then joined the KU staff team in<br />
Dec. 2002. She was at the Bell campus for a time leading small group <strong>Gr</strong>.1-5 at that campus, and currently serves at the South Surrey<br />
Campus on Sundays. She has been a leader in many ways at Wonderfaire and instrumental in children committing their lives to Jesus.<br />
Chris is well loved on our KU staff team, among our kids and volunteers. We will miss her sense of humour, fun, and faithful commitment to<br />
disciple kids on the path to follow Jesus! We wish her God’s best as she proceeds in her adventure by embarking on a new career in the<br />
Surrey School District after recently earning her Special Education Assistant diploma. Congradulations on this accomplishment, Chris!<br />
Thank you, Chris, for your years of exceptional service, your Godly influence and for the incredible difference you make at <strong>Gr</strong>acepoint<br />
(formerly Panorama). We will miss you here in KU and your heart to minister the gospel of Jesus to children and families but know that God<br />
will continue to use you & your family—beyond KU—for His glory. It’s been our joy and honour to know you and serve with you.<br />

“Thank you all for giving me this opportunity. I know that this church community is going to grow (God IS good and HE has a plan!) and I<br />
can’t wait to see what He does in the years to come.”<br />
