This booklet is designed
to keep you organized throughout
your undergraduate career.
It provides you with some useful resources, including workshops and
one-on-one consultations with tutors and/or learning strategists. You
are encouraged to fully utilize these resources, and throughout the year
you will meet with your case co-ordinator to discuss you progress.
LEAD Program Certificate
Are you interested in earning a LEAD Program Certificate?
The LEAD Program is a leadership development program that offers
participants a chance to explore their skills and traits through the context
of leadership. Participants are encouraged to explore their own definition
and methods of leadership development through critical reflection.
Participants who complete the four steps of the LEAD Program will
receive a LEAD Program Certificate. This certificate will reflect your
exploration of a skill or trait chosen at the beginning of the program
and will look great on your resume.

Learning Success Workshops
Learning success workshops are designed to help improve your study habits by focusing on skills like time management,
critical reading, and preparing for tests and exams. Workshops are held through Ryerson’s Learning Success Centre and

Meet with Tri-Mentoring Mentor
The Tri-Mentoring Program assists Ryerson’s culturally diverse student body in their pursuit of personal goals, academic
achievements, and career success. Through meaningful relationships with fellow students, industry professionals, and
the community at large, Tri-Mentoring supports the unique needs of Ryerson’s student body. All participants will benefit
from the opportunities to grow as students and persons through guidance, communication, leadership, and a supportive

Career Workshop
Ryerson’s Career Development and Employment Centre offers many workshops to help you develop essential career skills

Writing Centre
The Writing Centre at Ryerson is designed to help students become better writers by engaging in meaningful conversations
about their writing. The Writing Centre offers a number of workshops and events that focus on improving writing skills
such as planning, drafting, revising, and proper citation. Additionally, tutors are available for one-on-one appointments.

Math Assistance Centre
Ryerson’s Math Assistance Centre supports students across campus with math skills and math-related courses. The Centre
currently offers individual tutoring, as well as running Facilitated Study (FA-ST) groups. Drop by the Centre for on-the-spot
