The Summerside Masters Swim Club is extremely pleased to be able to continue
with their new tradition of hosting a PEI Masters swim meet in Summerside!
The meet will be held at the Summerside Wellness Center. This 38 million dollar
facility offers complete locker room services, a 6 lane 25 metre pool, electronic
timing, a leisure pool (which will be open to the public) is also available, and will
provide you use of the hot tub, wet and dry sauna and of course the water slide.
This year we would like all participants to be pre-registered for the meet. This will
help make ensure a well run and successful meet for you the swimmer. Cost is $25
for pre-registrants and forms must be received by April 14 th . Warm-ups will be
held from 1:00-1:50pm with the meet beginning at 2pm. Check-in begins at the
front desk at 11:30am until 12:45pm to make sure all information is correct.
A social (pasta dinner) will be held at the Summerside Wellness Centre following
the meet. Our own Chef Emily is presenting the meal. Everyone welcome!
*** For those registered the meal is included in your registration fee. For any children, spouses, guests
friends etc…who wish to join us there is a nominal fee of $6 to cover our cost. ***
This is the last scheduled masters meet this season in the Maritimes. It promises to
be a great event for a first-timer or a tune-up for those attending Nationals in May.

6 – lanes – 25-metre pool. Starting blocks located in the deep end of the pool. Leisure
Pool, wet and dry sauna and hot tub. Locker rooms complete with coin operated
lockers. Also electronic timing will be provided.
Registration: Pre-registration only $25 per swimmer. Forms to be received by April 14 th .
NO ON DECK REGISTRATION.
** Scratches need to be received no later then noon race day April 19 th .**

$25 per swimmer no limit on events Cheques can be made out to ‘Summerside
Masters Swim Team’.
Will be by entry time. Men and Women will swim separately. The exception is
the 800 freestyle where men and women will swim together, but will be scored
separately.
Pasta Dinner put on by our own Summerside Masters swimmer Chef Emily at the
Wellness Centre following the meet. Meal is included in registration for
swimmers. **** Extra tickets for guests/children etc $6.00 ea. ****
Accommodations: We have received a rate of $79 plus taxes for deluxe rooms at the Loyalist
Lakeview. When making reservations please mention you are going to be attending the Masters Swim
