America’s postsecondary education community. Their core mission is to ensure that all eligible individuals<br />
benefit from federal financial assistance - grants, loans, and work-study programs - for education beyond high<br />
school. The programs they administer comprise the nation’s largest source <strong>of</strong> student aid. Every year we provide<br />
more than $100 billion in new aid to nearly 14 million postsecondary students and their families.<br />

Established in 1956 and today supported by close to 550 foundations, the Foundation Center is a national nonpr<strong>of</strong>it<br />
service organization recognized as the nation’s leading authority on organized philanthropy, connecting<br />
nonpr<strong>of</strong>its and the grantmakers supporting them to tools they can use and information they can trust. Its audiences<br />
include grantseekers, grantmakers, researchers, policymakers, the media, and the general public.<br />
