Auditor General's Report on the Public Accounts of Montserrat 2004

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND APPRECIATION
The examination of public expenditure and revenue management could not
have been completed without the assistance of various staff within the
public sector. The <strong>Auditor</strong> General therefore wishes to express sincere
thanks to the Treasury Department, all Accounting Officers and the staff
of their Ministries/Departments, the staff of Statutory bodies and other
organizations, for the co-operation and courtesies extended to the <strong>Auditor</strong>
General’s staff during the performance of the various audit assignments.
Appreciation is expressed to the Administration Department, its Training
Division, IDI, CAROSAI and its member organizations, and other private
sector auditors for their invaluable assistance toward the Department’s
institutional strengthening, succession planning and training initiatives.
Finally, I could not have completed these works without the assistance of my
staff. I therefore wish to extend heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to
all members of the Audit Staff, for their hard work, cooperation and
assistance, in completing the various assignments.
