38 Wednesday, 27th, March 2013 NO. TITLE IMPORT & EXPORT 4 of 2013 Stamp (Amendment of Fees) Order 2013 5 of 2013 Telecommunications Service (Tax) Order 2013 Amends the Schedule to the Stamp Duty. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Prescribes the tax payable by any person in respect of each overseas telecommunication services originating in Montserrat, as 7.5 % of the charge or cost of such telecommunication. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Repeals the Telecommunications Services (Tax) Order 1999 (SRO 15 of 1999). 6 of 2013 Magistrate’s Court Order 2013 Replaces Schedule 1 of the Magistrate’s Court Act. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. 7 of 2013 Liquor Licence (Fees) Order 2013 Specifies the fees payable in respect of the licences under the Act and how they may be paid. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Sets 1st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Repeals the Cadavers (Importation) (Fees) Regulations 1980 (SRO 34 OF 1980). TITLE IMPORT & EXPORT 16 of 2013 The Immigration (Permanent Residence Permit) (Fees) Regulations 2013 Stipulates the fees payable for the issue of permanent residence permit in accordance with the scale of fees set out in the schedule. Deletes schedule 1 of the Immigration (Residence and Work Permits Fees) Regulation 1984 (SRO 5 OF 1984). Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Amends Regulations 30 of the Immigration Regulation (Cap.13.01). Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Stipulates the charges which may be made for the use of the John A. Osborne Airport, being an aerodrome in respect of which a licence for public use has been granted. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Repeals the Air Navigation (Airport Charges) Regulations 2005 (SRO 48 of 2005). Stipulates the communications and navigation fees payable by the operator of every aircraft for which air navigation services are provided at the airport in accordance with conditions as set out in these Regulations. Provides for the payment of fees and detention of aircraft for unpaid charges. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Repeals the Air Navigation (User Charges) Regulations 2005 (SRO 47 of 2005). Stipulates the fees payable under the Regulation. Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into force. Repeals the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) (Fees) Regulations 1981 (SRO 15 of 1981). Exempts Claude Browne trading as Brownean Motion from the payment of customs duties and consumption tax on the importation of selected items. Exempts John Silcott trading as Silcomm TV from the payment of customs duties and consumption tax on the importation of equipment for the developing and transmitting of cable service for a period of 10 years. Exempts Waka Waka Mas Montserrat Community Group from the payment of customs duties and consumption tax of $455.00 on the importation of festival items, including logo bags, whistles and mask. Amends Paragraph 4 (1) of the Customs Duties and Consumption Tax (Returning Montserratians) Order (Cap.17.05). Exempts Christiana Howe trading as Caribbean Essence W.I from the payment of customs duties and consumption tax of $7,300.00 on the importation of furniture, fixtures and equipment.
