This Notice is given pursuant to articles 41, 152 and 155 <strong>of</strong><br />

the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2007, as<br />

amended ("the Order").<br />

Article 41 provides for the Governor to give instructions in<br />

respect <strong>of</strong> the operation and safety <strong>of</strong> aircraft and the safety<br />

<strong>of</strong> persons and property carried therein and in respect <strong>of</strong> the<br />

instruments and equipment to be installed therein or carried<br />

thereon.<br />

Article 152 provides for the Governor to publish<br />

requirements which he considers relevant to determining his<br />

satisfaction in respect <strong>of</strong> certain matters before granting a<br />

certificate, licence or other document issued under the<br />

provisions <strong>of</strong> the Order.<br />

Article 155 provides, inter alia, for the Governor to issue<br />

such instructions as are necessary, requisite or expedient for<br />

carrying out the Chicago Convention and implementing any<br />

Annex thereto and any amendment to the Convention, or any<br />

such Annex made in accordance with the Convention, or<br />

generally for regulating and securing the safety <strong>of</strong><br />

forenoon to 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon (or such later<br />

Tax Agreement between the <strong>Government</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Montserrat</strong><br />

(as authorized by the <strong>Government</strong> <strong>of</strong> the United Kingdom<br />

<strong>of</strong> Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and the<br />

<strong>Government</strong> <strong>of</strong> Germany concerning the exchange <strong>of</strong><br />

information on taxation matters, set out in the schedule,<br />

has the force <strong>of</strong> law in <strong>Montserrat</strong>.<br />

Amends part A <strong>of</strong> the Schedule to the tax information Act<br />

$28,913.51 on the importation <strong>of</strong> specific items, subject to<br />

the payment <strong>of</strong> (a) a processing fee (b) specified customs<br />

duties and consumption tax.<br />

Replaces Schedule B <strong>of</strong> the Registration <strong>of</strong> Births and<br />

Deaths Act.<br />

Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into<br />

force.<br />

2 <strong>of</strong> 2013 Marriage (Fees) Order 2013 Specifies the fees to be paid for the performance <strong>of</strong> duties<br />

and services to which they relate under the Marriage<br />

(Fees) Act.<br />

Sets 1 st April 2013 as the date when the Act comes into<br />

force.<br />

Repeals the Marriage Act (Fees) Order 1993 (S.R.O. 7 <strong>of</strong><br />

1993).<br />

Repeals the Telecommunications Services (Tax) Order<br />

1999 (SRO 15 <strong>of</strong> 1999).<br />
