1- Bidders may obtain tender documents from the office of the Chief Engineer(Lucknow Zone), U.P. Jal Nigam,
Lucknow, General Manager (G.P.C.U.), U.P. Jal Nigam, Lucknow, Project Manager, G.P.C.Unit-4, U.P. Jal
Nigam, Lucknow or from the office of the District Magistrate, Lucknow on any working day during office hours
upto 24.09.2012 above mentioned amount in the form of demand draft only favoring the “Project Manager,
G.P.C.Unit-4, U.P. Jal Nigam, Lucknow”.
2- Postal charges of Rs. 500/-shall be payable extra if the tender documents are required to be sent by Post. This
office does not take any responsibility for the loss or delay in receipt of tender documents in time due to postal
delay or any other reason.
3- Earnest money should be submitted in the form of either F.D.R. of a nationalized bank or N.S.C./C.D.R. of Post
office duly pledged with “Project Manager, G.P.C.Unit-4, U.P. Jal Nigam, Lucknow” which should be valid for
minimum 180 days. No bid shall be considered without E.M.D.
4- The validity of tender shall be minimum 120 days.
5- The General Manager (G.P.C.U.), U.P. Jal Nigam, Lucknow reserves the right or reject any or all applications
without assigning any reason whatsoever, and no claims of applicants shall be considered in this regard.
6- Successful bidder shall be required to submit the sum of 5% of the cost of work as performance security after
award of work in the shape of F.D.R. or Bank Guarantee of any nationalized Bank and balance 5% performance
security will be detected from each running bill. Contractor shall have to pay all, stamp charges, sale tax, VAT,
Income Tax, Labour welfare cess & any other Tax payable as per Government norms. Other necessary
information’s and conditions will be incorporated in the tender document.
