Short Term Notice Inviting Tenders
On behalf of the chairman U.P. Jal Nigam sealed tenders from manufacturer/authorized
distributors/dealers/experienced contractors registered in class ‘A’ in U.P. Jal Nigam are hereby invited by
the undersigned for following works upto 3:00 PM on dated 26.08.2013 which shall be opened in the
office of District Magistrate, Moradabad on dated 29.08.2013 at 11:00 AM by the undersigned or his
authorized representative in the presence of intending tenderer or their authorized representative.

Terms & Conditions:-
A- Purchase of tender document:-
1. Tender documents can be obtained by eligible bidders from the office of the Executive Engineer
Temp. Construction Division(E/M) U.P. Jal Nigam Moradabad, Superintending Engineer 8 th Circle
U.P. Jal Nigam Moradabad, Chief Engineer(MBD Zone) U.P. Jal Nigam Moradabad and District
Magistrate Moradabad in all working days between 10:30 hrs. to 16:30 hrs. against the payment of Rs.
10000.00 + 14% Vat as cost of tender document and application form through Demand Draft of any
Nationalized bank payable at Moradabad and issued in favour of Executive Engineer Temp.
Construction Division(E/M) U.P. Jal Nigam Moradabad.
2. The tender document can also be obtained by post at bidder’s risk for which Rs. 500.00 shall be
payable extra as postal charges.
3. The document will be sold to the manufacturer/authorized distributors/dealers/contractors registered
in class “A” in U.P. Jal Nigam. The eligible parties will have to produce the certified copy of
certificate/papers to show their states as manufacturer/authorized distributors/dealers/contractors
registered in Class “A” in U.P. Jal Nigam at the time of purchase of tender document. Howerer
tenderers are advised to see the eligibility criteria given below in Heading Eligibility. Copy of the
registration in “A” Class in U.P. Jal Nigam should also be enclosed with the application for purchasing
the tender documents.

B- Others:-
1. The bidders are advised to submit tender documents duty completed in one sealed envelope containing
of three sealed envelops for earnest money, technical bid and financial bid separately on or before the
specified date upto 15:00 hrs. in the offices mentioned above.
2. Quantity may be increased or decreased subjected to availability of funds.
3. Cost of tender is not refundable and tender form is not transferable.
4. The tender shall be accompanied with required earnest money duly pledged to the Executive Engineer
Temp. Construction Division(E/M), U.P. Jal Nigam, Moradabad in the shape of FDR/CDR/NSC.
5. Financial bid of those firms/contractors shall be considered who would qualify technically. The date of
opening of financial bid will be intimated to the firms in due time.
6. If on the date of opening of the tender becomes holiday, the tender will be opened on the next working
day.
7. The date of pre bid meeting shall be 24.08.2013 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Superintending
Engineer(I.W.) U.P. Jal Nigam Lucknow.
8. Undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the bids without assigning any reasons thereof.
9. The contractor will have to maintain the complete solar dual pump system for 5 years from the date of
commissioning.
C- Eligibility:-
1. Experience:-
The bidders should have financial soundness, sufficient technical know how and have successfully
completed the same nature of works in Government/Public sectors during the last 5 years ending last day
of the month 2013, in which applications are invited as per details given below. The technical experience
of the manufacturer will also be considered.
a. One similar completed works of 40 Nos. or more and.
b. One similar completed works of 200.00 lacs or more.
OR
c. Two similar completed works each of 25 Nos. or more and.
d. Two similar completed works of 125.00 lacs or more.
OR
e. Three similar completed works each of 20 Nos. or more and.
f. Three similar completed works of 100.00 lacs or more.
2. Performance Report:-
The bidder should give the details of works/orders in last 5 years and shall submit the supporting
certified documents of successful completion of work.
3. Turn Over:-
The average annual turn over should be at least equal to Rs. 200.00 Lacs.
4. Profit/Loss:-
The firm should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during the last 5 years.
Or
The firm should have a positive net worth.
5. Solvency Certificate:-
The Firm/Contracting Agency/Bidder should have solvency of the amount equal to Rs. 100.00
Lacs.
