TENDER NOTICE
On behalf of Chairman, U.P. Jal Nigam, (UPJN) the General Manager, Ganga Pollution
Control Unit, (GPCU), UPJN, Allahabad invites sealed tenders, under National Competitive
Bidding (NCB), from the experienced contractors of high repute and sound technical and financial
capabilities for the work specified in the schedule below:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1- Tender documents can be obtained by the eligible contractors from the following offices
during the period for sale;
a. The Project Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad
b. The General Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad
c. District Magistrate, Allahabad.
d. Executive Engineer, 2 nd Division, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad.
on all working days between 10.30 hours to 16.30 hours against the payment of Rs. 3000/-
(Rs Three Thousand + VAT Only) through Crossed Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank
payable at Allahabad and issued in favour of Project Manager, Ganga Pollution Control
Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam Allahabad.
2. Completed tender document can be submitted in any one of the four offices mentioned at sl.
no. 1.
3. Tender will be opened in the office of the District Magistrate, Allahabad.
4. The tenderers who are registered with U.P. Jal Nigam in class A/B category of sewer works
or for building works have experience of similar works also have T & P like JCB, Dumper,
Concrete Mixer with batching, Tanker etc. may participate in tendering process.
The contractor/ tenderer who is not registered in U.P. Jal Nigam but has sufficient
experience in this field may also obtain the tender document provided that he get himself

egistered in U.P. Jal Nigam in respective category before the opening of the financial
tender.
5. The contractors should submit their request for issue of the tender documents along with the
registration certificate and experience certificate.
6. The tender documents can be obtained by post on tenderer's risk for which Rs. 200/- shall be
payable extra as postal charges.
7. Earnest money equal to the amount shown in col.3 above duly pledged in the name of Project
Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U. P. Jal, Nigam, Allahabad should be submitted
with tender document. in the form of FDR/NSC/CDR of a Nationalized Bank/ Post Office failing
which the bid for qualification will not be considered.
9. The tenderers may submit the duly completed documents on or before specified date up to
15.00 hrs in any one of the offices mentioned above.
10. Contractors are advised to visit the site and can also contact the Engineer In charge on any
working day for any clarification before quoting the rates.
11. The General Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam Allahabad reserves the
right to reject any/all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever and his decision
shall be final and binding. No Prime contractor / tenderder shall have any claim arising out of
such action.
12. In case of a holiday falling on the date of receipt/opening of tenders, the tenders will be
received/opened on the very next working day.
