SHORT TERM NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Tenders in prescribed forms and sealed cover super scribed with the name of work are hereby invited by the
undersigned for construction of deep well and installation of hand pump in rocky area of districts – Chandauli as specified in
the schedule given below up to 5:00 P.M. and shall be opened by tender committee headed by the Superintending
Engineer or his authorized representative in the office of Superintending Engineer, Construction Circle (E&M), U.P. Jal
Nigam, Varanasi at 12:00 A.M. in presence of intending bidders or their authorized representatives. Tender documents can
be purchased by the eligible bidders from the following offices on any working day between 10:30 hrs. to 17:00 hrs on
payment of required tender fee.
1. Office of the undersigned.
2. Office of the Executive Engineer, UNICEF Project Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Sonebhadra.
3. Office of the Executive Engineer, II Construction Division, U.P. Jal Nigam, Ghazipur.
Complete tender documents can be submitted in any above mentioned offices at Varanasi, Sonebhadra and Ghazipur.

Terms and conditions:
1. Quantity of work may be increased or decreased.
2. The department reserves the right to reject any or all tenders partially or fully without assigning any reason
thereof.

3. Postal charges of Rs. 150/- shall have to be paid extra if the tenders are to be sent by post. The department shall
bear no any responsibility for postal delays.
4. The earnest money should be enclosed in separate envelop with tender in the shape of F.D.R./C.D.R./N.S.C. of
any nationalized Bank/Post-Office duly pledged in the name of Executive Engineer, II Construction Division, U.P.
Jal Nigam, Varanasi. The tender without earnest money shall not be opened.
5. Tender documents shall be sold only to the reputed firms who are registered with U.P.Jal Nigam, in class’A’
category for construction of deep well hand pump (rig machine) by DTH rig machine.
6. Other terms and conditions will be as per details given in tender documents.
