Contractor is to complete all works left by<br />

other contractor like gap work, lamination<br />

work, supply and fixing of fittings, thrust<br />

blocks works etc. as per requirement.<br />

Hydraulic testing of the laid GRP pipe line as<br />

per IS code including repairing work, in case<br />

of any leakage in laid pipe line. Trial and run<br />

period including six calendar month will start<br />

after completion of work. After trial and run<br />

period 24 calendar months of maintenance<br />

period of pipe line. All these work will be done<br />

as per direction of Engineer in charge & as per<br />

IS code.<br />

Reinstatement of all types of roads as per<br />

relevant IS code including supply of all<br />

material, labour T&P etc. complete with two<br />

years maintenance of the road as per direction<br />

of engineer in charge.<br />

TERMS & CONDITIONS:<br />

(A) Purchase of Tender Document<br />

(a)<br />

Tender documents can be obtained by the eligible bidders from the office of the Project Manager,<br />

Construction Unit,120/190, Lajpat Nager, Kanpur, Project Manager, Barrage Unit U.P. Jal Nigam,<br />

Fazalganj Kanpur, S.E. XIV Circle U.P. Jal Nigam, Kanpur, Chief Engineer(Kanpur Zone) U.P. Jal<br />

Nigam, Kanpur and District Magistrate, Kanpur on all working days between 10.30 AM to 16.30 hours<br />

against the payment of the cost of document indicated in col. 3 of above table, through demand draft of<br />

any Nationalized Bank/ Scheduled Bank payable at Kanpur and issued in favour of Project Manager,<br />

Construction Unit U.P. Jal Nigam, Kanpur.<br />

(b) The earnest money indicated in column no. 4 will be accepted in the shape of N.S.C., Post Office Saving,<br />

CDR, Fix Deposit Receipt of any nationalized/Scheduled Bank duly pledged in favour of Project<br />

Manager, Construction Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Kanpur.<br />

B- The tender documents can be obtained by post on bidder’s risk for which Rs. 500.00 shall be payable<br />

extra as postal charges. The tender documents will be sold to the bidders:<br />

a. The tender documents may be purchased by the intending experienced Firms/Contractors of the repute<br />

having sound technical and financial capabilities.<br />

b. The bidders may submit the duly completed documents on or before the specified date up to 15.00 hours<br />

in the offices mentioned above in A (a).<br />

C- Eligibility:<br />

The contractors enlisted in class ’A’(water supply works) or class ‘B’(Turn key Projects) in U.P. JAL<br />

NIGAM will be entitled to tender for works.<br />

D- Performance Report:<br />

The bidders should give the details of works/order completed in last five years not less than Rs.100.00<br />

lacs. and shall submit the supporting certified document of successful completion of work with tender<br />

documents.<br />

E- The tenderers are advised to submit the tender documents in two separate sealed envelopes as under:-<br />

(a) Envelope ‘A’ will have the earnest money along with the performance /experience certificates etc.<br />

(b) Envelope ‘B’ will have the ‘PRICE BID’ only. Envelope ‘B’ will be opened only when the<br />

Contractor/ Firm will qualify after the examination of envelope ‘A’.<br />

F- Right to Reject<br />

Competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.<br />

G- Any condition mentioned in the Tender by the contractor will not be accepted.<br />
