SHORT TERM TENDER NOTICE
On behalf of the Chairman, U.P.Jal Nigam, sealed tenders on prescribed document are invited for
following works on item rate basis from experienced and eligible tenderers having sound technical and financial
capabilities and experience for the works mentioned in the following table.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1- Tender documents can be obtained by the eligible contractors from the following offices during the period for
sale;
a. The Project Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad
b. The General Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad
c. District Magistrate, Allahabad.
d. The Chief Engineer, Allahabad Zone, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad.
on all working days between 10.30 hours to 16.30 hours against the payment of Rs. 3500/- (Rs Three
Thousand Five Hundred + 13.5% VAT) through Crossed Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank payable at
Allahabad and issued in favour of Project Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam,
Allahabad.
2. Tender shall be received on the prescribed date in all the four offices mentioned at serial sl. no. 1.
3. Envelop containing the tender shall be opened in the presence of bidders / or their authorized representatives.
4. The tender document will only be issued to the contractors/ tenderders who are registered in U.P. Jal Nigam in
class ‘B’ or above category for sewerage works/Road work/ Building work.
The prime contractor/ tenderer who is not registered in U.P. Jal Nigam but has sufficient experience in this
field may also obtain the tender document provided that he get himself registered in U.P. Jal Nigam in
respective category before the opening of the financial tender.
5. The contractors should submit their request for issue of the tender documents along with the registration
certificate and experience certificate.
6. The tender documents can be obtained by post on tenderder's risk for which Rs. 500/- shall be payable extra as
postal charges.
7. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as mentioned above must be enclosed with the tender in the shape of
FDR /CDR/ NSC of a Nationalized Bank/ Post office duly pledged in the name of Project Manager, Ganga
Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad. Tender not accompanied with full EMD shall be rejected.
8. The tenderers may submit the duly completed documents on or before specified date up to 12:30 hrs in any one
of the offices mentioned above.

9. Contractors are advised to visit the site and can also contact the Engineer In charge on any working day for any
clarification before quoting the rates.
10. Drawing and design of Interconnection shall be submitted by contractor for execution of work will be made after
approval by competent authority of GPCU U.P. Jal Nigam, Allahabad.
11. The Project Manager, Ganga Pollution Control Unit, U.P. Jal Nigam Allahabad reserves the right to reject any/all
the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever and his decision shall be final and binding. No Prime
contractor / tenderder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
12. In case of a holiday falling on the date of receipt/opening of tenders, the tenders will be received/opened on the
very next working day.
