Installing <strong>Spring</strong> Boot on a Mac OS X or Linux<br />

Remember to have the GVm tool installed. To install <strong>Spring</strong> Boot on your Mac or Linux, execute the following<br />

command:<br />

$ gvm install springboot<br />

To make sure that <strong>Spring</strong> Boot was successfully installed, execute the following command:<br />

$ spring --version<br />

<strong>Spring</strong> CLI v1.1.1.RELEASE<br />

Installing <strong>Spring</strong> XD<br />

<strong>Spring</strong> XD is part of the last chapter of the book, and even though it tells you how to install it, I’m putting<br />

more detailed instructions for Windows and Unix users here. The <strong>Spring</strong> XD web page URL is<br />
