Why do Some Responses Indicate an Attachment with 0
Bytes of Data?
Messages returned from “afisroot@mail2.wdoj.com” will appear to have an
attachment with 0 bytes of data. We do not return the original fingerprint record,
instead only text in the subject line. Thus, the attachment contains 0 bytes of data.
Other agencies or the CIB Administrator can email attachments that will reflect the
correct number of bytes of data.
What Does It Cost?
There is no cost for this service.
How Long are Messages Retained on the Server?
A maximum amount of time is still to be determined. Agencies are encouraged to
delete read messages which are no longer needed.
Passwords
Your “Username” is your agency’s ORI. Each agency will begin with a default
password of “12345”. To prevent others from mistakenly deleting your messages,
we encourage you to change it. Passwords are not case sensitive.

What about maintenance?
Should the DLES mail server be taken down for scheduled maintenance, the
