Electronic Submission of Court Disposition
Any Circuit Court using the Consolidated Court Automation Program (CCAP) to
manage their criminal case files may submit disposition information electronically
via CCAP to the Department of Justice. Disposition information is forwarded by
CCAP upon the closing of the case.
Certain minimum data must be contained in the CCAP record to allow the
disposition to post to the proper arrest event. Without this information the
disposition must be submitted on the paper (DJ-LE-249) disposition forms. The
minimum data required to allow the disposition to post successfully are either:
• The Arrest Tracking Number (ATN), or
• A matching name, sex, race, date of birth, contributing agency
(contributor) ORI and arrest date to those contained in the arrest
submission.
Those courts not using CCAP for case management must continue to submit paper
disposition forms to the Department of Justice.
