Pulse Report # 3 – Excess Stock Inventory (ERA) Are you ordering too much, over-riding your actual quantities? Are your days supply settings to high? Has demand slowed and best stocking levels retreated while sales stalled? “Ideal Pulse” Excess Inventory Value should be 20% or less of total inventory value. Consider Isolating Excess Parts into a separate source or group and fix the MAX/FB (Full Bin)setting to not exceed the BSL, keeping days supply the same. Don’t forget to remove Full Bin settings when target on hand is reached!
